Ashley Inman of Tunkhannock, PA Named NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete

Ashley Inman of Tunkhannock, PA was one of 10 members of the Mansfield University softball team to earn National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athlete for their outstanding performance in the classroom during the 2013-14 academic year.

In order to qualify for NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete recognition, the student-athlete must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the academic year.

As a team, the Mountaineers garnered NFCA All-Academic Team accolades with a 3.26 GPA. Under the direction of head coach Edith Gallagher, it marks the 19th consecutive year that Mansfield has been named to All-Academic Team honors.

Not only was Mansfield successful in the classroom last year, the Mountaineers reached heights never before seen with the program's first trip to the NCAA Softball Tournament in May
