Bauder Named 1st Team All-PSAC East Softball

Senior Courtney Bauder was named to 1st Team All-PSAC East Softball at Utility/Non-Pitcher in voting conducted by conference head coaches and released today.

It marks the second time in her career that Bauder has garnered All-PSAC honors after being selected 2nd team in 2014.

Bauder topped the Mountaineers in nearly every statistical category in 2015. The senior batted a team-best .350 at the plate with 43 hits in 123 at bats. Starting all 37 games at either second base or outfield, Bauder drove in 26 runs while scoring 21 herself. She recorded 73 total bases while hitting 12 doubles, three triples and four home runs.

Bauder was just as stellar in the field, posting a .954 fielding % with only four errors in 87 chances. She totaled 45 putouts with 38 assists.

A career .325 hitter, Bauder is fourth in program history in runs (110), third in hits (165), second in extra base hits (70), second in doubles (47), third in triples (8), fifth in home runs (15), fourth in RBIs (87) and fourth in stolen bases (27).
