Motorcycle Basic Rider Course Training Held at Mansfield
Mansfield, PA (08/18/2022) — Mansfield, part of Commonwealth University, in cooperation with the Mansfield University Public Safety Training Institute, completed its summer season of motorcycle Basic Rider Course training on Sunday, Aug. 14.
Over the summer, seven Basic Rider Course classes were offered at Mansfield resulting in the licensing of 46 new motorcycle riders. The sessions utilized a classroom and a parking lot at Mansfield.
The motorcycle class is offered at no cost to Pennsylvania residents through the Pennsylvania Motorcycle Safety Program. Instruction was provided by rider coaches certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. Motorcycle classes will resume at Mansfield in spring 2023.
